I gave this look 4 stars because the keyway and key alignment is very difficult if the lock is subjected to vibration or movement. without laying on the ground and looking up into the keyway, it can take several minutes for the key to engage the tumblers.
Other than that, the lock is so robust and well-made that the bad guy would have to cut the entire front of the A-frame off and bolt a new one in place to defeat this lock!! Fit and finish are excellent and there is no doubt that this is the toughest lock on the market. I would not hesitate to buy again. My experience with Altor; A real human answered the phone and all of my questions!!! Polite, professional and very knowledgeable of the product. There is no tougher lock out there, I looked at them all!
I think that the only modification would be for Altor to introduce some "Drag" into the keyway entry point so that it does not move so much under vibration.
Once I opened the box and seen this lock I knew I would not worry about someone cutting this lock off and taking my trailer. 5 Star engineering!
