"I stumbled upon a YouTube video about this lock when I bought my first road bike (that I couldn't bring anywhere because I didn't dare to leave it unsupervised). After watching several videos about locks that get cut and bikes that get stolen, I watched one about the APEX Ti and I knew I had to have one. I went to the website and they had recently sold out. After waiting several months, they came back with a new and improved model. They also had one in nearly the exact color of my bike (teal). Although it might seem expensive to some, it was worth it for me and keeping my new bike. I haven't been able to ride my bike recently with the lock now attached, so it's hard to say how much I will feel the weight, but the lock is slim against the frame and easy to use (lock and unlock). It could also fit easily in a small backpack. It's not bulky, stiff, or heavy like a D-lock or flimsy like a cable lock. I don't live in a city or high crime area, but if I did, I wouldn't want to leave a bike alone without the APEX Ti attached. It truly is a remarkable lock and I trust that it will keep my bike safe."
