I'm an old guy and I have bought almost every coupler lock made. They're all trash...easy to pick and easier to cut off. Except the Icon. The Icon is the best trailer lock made in the world and nothing is even close. Finally a lock that actually secures your trailer. This is my second one and Altor even keyed it to match my first Icon lock at no extra charge. It costs more than cheaper locks but it's the cheapest insurance you'll find against theft. A thief will take one look at it and move on to the next trailer.

My trailer has an alarm that locks the wheels, and I put a covered chain through the wheels. Now having my ICON Trailer Lock secured to my trailer, I have no worries. Other than sleeping in my trailer I have done everything to deter and prevent theft. I highly recommend this serious trailer lock. Well worth the price!

This lock is as robust as advertised. It is an absolute mammoth in looks and build quality. Helps me sleep at night knowing my trailer will be in the same spot that I left it. SPEND the extra money for the peace of mind.

Not much that I can say that hasn’t already been said, but this lock is the wrecking ball to every other hitch lock on the market hands down! Nothing even comes close to the security this lock provides! A thief would have better luck just cutting off the complete trailer A frame than trying to get through this thing! Great job folks!

being a welder for almost 30 years. I understand alot about metal, and what makes this lock good. I've hardened steel myself. The same way they do with this lock. It raises the hardness of the steel, where it's harder than drill bits and saw blades. I use grinders everyday and I know how difficult it would be to cut this off. There is a YouTube channel called the lock picking lawyer. He is considered the best at picking locks. He actually had to custom make picking tools in order to pick this lock because there were no commercial pick tool available for this type of lock. It felt so good having this on my rv. I feel so much better now. Especially since my brother in laws rv was stolen 3 months ago.

Received my order within a week. No issues with transaction, shipping nor delivery. Item arrived undamaged, as I expected, no matter how badly it was handled. This thing is MASSIVE!! It certainly looks the part. Now, I won't know how effective it really is at deterring would-be-thieves, until someone tries. Yes the lock is expensive, but you are more likely to lose your trailer if you use a cheaper lock. I have many different coupler locks and this one is the best. If you do not have insurance on your trailer, this is the way to go.
