Our trailer has not been made yet, I ordered this lock for our 2 5/16” trailer hitch to be ready to secure our new purchase. After many hours of watching and reading reviews of what’s out there. I decided this lock would be the best deterrent for our needs. I like the fact that it’s only one piece. No assembly of three different pieces to secure our trailer.
After having our travel trailer stolen, I wanted to make sure that I found THE best lock I could to prevent that from happening again. This thing is a tank! Excellent design that will certainly make it very, very difficult for a thief to get around. Thanks Altor!
This lock gives us some peace of mind that the casual thief will either pass on our trailer or that it will cause a major headache for him. This lock is really solid.

I really like the lock. It’s sturdy and easy to install and uninstall. The only downside was I made the mistake to have it shipped via US Postal. It took forever to get here and having a tracking number was a joke! For days the website said that a label had been made and they were waiting for item pickup. The website was never updated until after I checked on the last day and decided that I was going to the post office and have them establish where the shipment was. After I found the notice in my PO Box I checked the website again while waiting in line to get the package and the site had been updated during the ten minutes that it took for me to drive to the post office. Never again! I have no complaints against Altor Locks. The item was shipped fast. My complaint is against the post office. This lock is the most sturdy of all the locks I researched prior to purchasing this one. I now have the peace of mind that my trailer and its’ contents are safe. Thank you Altor Locks
Easy to install. Superior protection. Especially when accompanied by a wheel lock and a tracker.
I rarely leave reviews but this is the 2nd trailer lock I have purchased both are excellent well made & designed very heavy duty locks. If you are looking for the best lock for a trailer you have found it.

Great frame mount put it on bike where water bottle cage goes. Easy access to lock and you don’t have to put it in your bag.
This lock is everything perfect use for my scooter, very light weight and strong also easy to use.the best part is simply press the button to lock it, no need to pull out keys to unlock first.
